The New Socialism: Global Collectivist Society Is Coming Online
The New Socialism: Global Collectivist Society Is Coming Online: "Bill Gates once derided open source advocates with the worst epithet a capitalist can muster. These folks, he said, were a 'new modern-day sort of communists,' a malevolent force bent on destroying the monopolistic incentive that helps support the American dream. Gates was wrong: Open source zealots are more likely to be libertarians than commie pinkos. Yet there is some truth to his allegation. The frantic global rush to connect everyone to everyone, all the time, is quietly giving rise to a revised version of socialism."

Social-networking tools fuel business opportunities -- Washington Technology
Social-networking tools fuel business opportunities -- Washington Technology: "However, introducing social media and building a collaborative culture around it can create hurdles for many companies. “Change management and communication are critical,” Smith said, adding that companies need to shift from thinking that whoever has the most information has the power to thinking that whoever has the most connections and can bring people together has the power. “This is really transforming how organizations look at information.”"

Every day seems to bring more bad financial news. Facing the deepest recession and most serious economic crisis since the end of WWII, the new Obama administration announced the government will play a more active role in the economy. The $700 Billion Financial Stability Plan and the $787 Billion Stimulus Plan represent only some of the funding available for government backed programs.

· Competition - Is it truly "fair and open?" If not, why not?
· Why do the prime contractors and incumbents always seem to win?
Types of Contracting Vehicles
· What are IDIQ, BPA and GSA Schedule contracts?
· What are contract bundling and teaming arrangements?
· GSA Schedules - Why should I get one? We have one, what’s next?
